Library goal #5. Improve library spaces that allow students to study and research. To provide successful programs and services, CC Library relies heavily on our multi-media technicians who work to ensure access to library sources. They provide the work and expertise to acquire sources, process sources, maintain the online catalog records, and more.
Circulation and Technical Services is defined as units responsible for the following:
Access and Technical Services Department has experienced more change than other library department as technology continues to transform library services. For example, the migration to licensed databases, online journals and e‐books has changed the workflow for technical services personnel. Other aspects of technical services such as cataloging continue to require labor‐intensive, specialized attention.

Students will successfully identify various library policies and services that provide them with equitable access to library collections and standards for proper use of library materials.
