PLO 4

PLO 4: Students will demonstrate the information literacy skills to use library website and/or research tools (i.e. Libguides, tutorials) to access library sources.

How does this PLO 4  support Library Goal 3?
     Library goal #3: Investigate and evaluate new emerging library technologies for effective discovery of information. We will develop, create and expand methods for teaching information literacy to on and off‐campus populations

What are the expected outcomes?
     
 Students will demonstrate the ability to independently use Library website and/or research tools (i.e. research guides) to find library sources. 

What MoA will be used to assess this PLO?
This PLO includes assessment of usability of library website and research tool (i.e. LibGuides)  Faculty and student feedback will be used to determine effectiveness on student learning.

How will you assess how well this PLO was achieved (performance indicators)?
 Library research tools usability. Students and/or faculty surveyed will demonstrate using learning tools.

PLO 4 assessment

Subject Guides were created by librarian. Faculty survey results showed that very few faculty were aware of subject guides.  Follow-up  has been postponed due to LSP migration efforts.
